What does it mean in a criminal proceeding when they say, “They are trying to rope him”?Oh and two of the class 4’s they say were commited on different days

Ok so my dad found like 7 maybe 8 grams of my personal weed in a big unlabeled pill bottle in my dresser. It was all for me nobody else. Anyways while i was not around he turned it in to the police and told them it was mine and the cops said i can be charged with possession and could get a felony and up to i think 1.5 years in prison. So my question is since the police didn’t find it and all that happened was my dad said it was mine, can i technically be charged with possession considering the police didn’t actually find it on me and they didn’t even see my dad find it in the dresser. In my mind theres no proof that it was mine and all they have is the weed and my dads word saying that its mine. Is that enough to get charged for? Also i should add im only 17 how will this affect it also?

What is the penalty for bringing drugs into a police station? The police want her to snitch to “drop” the charges. My sister is trying to get clean from a heroin addiction and wants to go to rehab. She went into a police station with the drugs and was arrested. The police want her to snitch on someone to allegedly drop the charges. Obviously snitching could be very dangerous and I want to advise her against it. So how severe are the charges she may be looking at?

Is whatever you’re asked about in the ‘interrogation’ room what you’re gonna get charged with? Besides the marijuana & pipe I admitted to being mine, hydrocodone pills which I thought & was told were ibuprofen pills were in my pocket. My ‘friend’ told me to hold them & his kneebrace for him. Which is exactly what I told the officers at the station. They asked me how much of the pills I had taken & I told them none (I honestly hadent taken any). They checked my pupils & after that took me to the interrgation room & questioned me only about the weed & pipe I had & after I was released to my parents. . Does that mean im only going to be charged for what I was asked about in interrogation??
