Is this child abuse and can I use it toward my benefit on a current runaway and possible possession charge? I am 17 and have the possibility of getting a possession charge but there is no proof the drugs are mine they were found in my dresser when i was not home and turned in by a parent I am planning on remaining silent because theres no way to prove i was in “control” of said drugs when they were turned into police. At the same time i am currently a runaway and have not yet returned home so im also facing that.

Will my son have to go to jail or is there a possibility of a suspended sentence? My son has a prior felony from about 4 years ago and was just found guilty of trafficking stolen property. Is there a possibility of a suspended sentence? I have heard different views on this. Some have said he has to go to prison and some say he could get a suspended sentence or Intensive Probation, could someone let me know if there is any hope.

Is whatever you’re asked about in the ‘interrogation’ room what you’re gonna get charged with? Besides the marijuana & pipe I admitted to being mine, hydrocodone pills which I thought & was told were ibuprofen pills were in my pocket. My ‘friend’ told me to hold them & his kneebrace for him. Which is exactly what I told the officers at the station. They asked me how much of the pills I had taken & I told them none (I honestly hadent taken any). They checked my pupils & after that took me to the interrgation room & questioned me only about the weed & pipe I had & after I was released to my parents. . Does that mean im only going to be charged for what I was asked about in interrogation??

Hello, I lost my firearm rights in california when I was a juvenile until the age of 29. I am not 22 years old and live in Arizona. Am I considered a prohibited possessor in Arizona too, or only in California? Please help.
