What sentence is my brother in law looking at for 1st offense marjuana possession, receiving a dui? This was 1 1/2 yrs. ago. He did not make his court appearance but left the state. He came back a few months ago to help with his mom and is now ready to turn himself in. There, of course, is a warrant out for his arrest now. What is he looking at as far as time? And any other possible advice do you have? Thank you.

My boyfriend and his co-defendant were charged with a few felonies, they got a plea of one felony being left of attempted aggravated robbery. My boyfriends co-defendant is out on supervised probation, the easiest type of probation and he was the one who did everything, the one who had the weapon, the one who put the weapon to the person, they just considered my boyfriend as an accompliss and they are not sure if they want to give my boyfriend a chance of probation because of his juvenile record from something he did at age 13, he is now 19 years old and this is his first offense as an adult.
One night about 2 in the morning at the end of December I pulled into my driveway of my house, only to be confronted by a Police unit who pulled up in front of my driveway as I was parking my car. He confronted me to investigate an indecent exposure report that he said just happened north of me at the Park about 1/2 mile from my house. He said me and my car fit the description. After running my past arrest record he saw I had been arrested before for the same crime. They felt convinced I was their man so they arrested me.

Continue Reading ...Ok so my dad found like 7 maybe 8 grams of my personal weed in a big unlabeled pill bottle in my dresser. It was all for me nobody else. Anyways while i was not around he turned it in to the police and told them it was mine and the cops said i can be charged with possession and could get a felony and up to i think 1.5 years in prison. So my question is since the police didn’t find it and all that happened was my dad said it was mine, can i technically be charged with possession considering the police didn’t actually find it on me and they didn’t even see my dad find it in the dresser. In my mind theres no proof that it was mine and all they have is the weed and my dads word saying that its mine. Is that enough to get charged for? Also i should add im only 17 how will this affect it also?
