News: Phoenix High Speed Chase Ends in Shooting

No officers were injured in an hourlong car chase Friday night that began in the West Valley and ended in a standoff in north Phoenix, officials said.
Around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Department of Public Safety officers attempted to stop a black Lexus sedan for speeding on the northbound Loop 101, near the Camelback exit in the West Valley. The car sped northbound, reaching speeds of 120 mph, and officers pursued the Lexus until it exited at 35th Avenue.
